omgoodness, they look soo good! Nice job! I have kinky twists on my listing of styles to do!
Nice tip in regards to the conditioner after the vingegar rinse. I never had points with hardness, but I also have not performed the rinse on kinky marley hair both.

Hey Tama, fast query: Do you braid first then twist by way of-out your whole head Additionally, do you have any issues with ends sticking out the twists I assume u simply twist your actual hair into the marley hair, proper
I solely did 2 sets of kinky twists, but on different peoples hair. So any pointers can be nice!

I Want I could braid my own hair like that. I’m really going to place in some crochet braids immediately which I used to help my mom do on my sister’s hair as a kid. A lot easier for me.

Awww, thanks Ms D!
Thanks additionally for the tip relating to the acv rinse for the hair – it has helped loads! I can really feel an enormous distinction. I think adding an enormous squirt of conditioner to the water will soften the hair up and also make it simpler to split the hair which is all the time a bit of a chore with the model of hair that I use.

Sure, I join the extension hair by wrapping the marley braid hair around my very own hair so I have 3 items (2 x marley hairstyle for small face braid hair and 1 x my own hair. I braid about an inch down first after which I incorporate my hair into one of the strands of marley braid hair before I start twisting the hair, firstly on itself and then round the other strand of marley braid hair (the identical double twisting approach used for Senegalese twists). I twist from that time through to the tip of the extenstion hair, which totally incorporates my very own hair. Some people braid after which cut up their own hair between the 2 strands of marley braid hair however I really feel that my hair is best protected when left intact and added to only one strand, although the twists are most likely neater with the other method. I’ve by no means had any problems with the ends sticking out of the twists doing it this way.
I can’t wait to see what yours turn out like – and your crochet braids too!!

You did an awesome. I want I could braid my very own hair. I will definitely keep this publish to see if I can do my daughter’s hair like this for the summer season. My daughter’s hair is about APL, do you suppose longer lengths and swimming will keep neat
Simply Into My HAIR21 Could 2012 at 23:09
I might suppose it should stay fairly neat – effectively as neat as braids (with extensions) would if they are being wet and washed recurrently. I do not think the length can be an issue. I reckon your daughter will look lovely in them.

Your twists look fabulous! How did you finish the ends I’m planning to get long kinky twists nonetheless I would like not to have the ends fodder.
Anonymous27 July 2012 at 03:30
@I meant rodded..
Merely Into My HAIR21 October 2012 at 15:Fifty one
I did not do something to finish the ends, I simply twist by to the very ends of the extension hair.
Napfrocurlzgirl28 November 2012 at 02:09
I just did my first set up, too, and i find it irresistible! I added an affordable, oily hair cream to mine as I twisted and that softened the hair, added shine and softened my very own hair.
Simply Into My HAIR29 November 2012 at 11:09
Congratulations in your first install. It’s an amazing achievement with the ability to braid your personal hair in extensions! I am so glad I finally discovered the right way to do it.
Adding the cream as you go alongside the twist really does assist with retaining your hair tender while twisting and likewise retains the twist wanting clean (prevents fly-aways!).
Anonymous29 November 2013 at 14:37
It really works greatest to do the vinegar rinse after the set up.
Anonymous24 February 2014 at 13:27
howdy i would liek to know how to fix my flyaways without taking my braids out. i simply acquired them accomplished 3 days ago and my hair is a finer texture and my ends are coming out of my twist 🙁
Simply Into My HAIR / Merely Into My NAILS24 February 2014 at 18:30
Thanks, I’ll consider that if I ever neglect to soak previous to set up. 🙂

To be honest I am probably not sure what to recommend. Maybe you might put gel on the flyaways if it’s the place the ends if your lay.
I’m sorry that is probably not a lot help. I do not often worry a lot about flyaways or smooth edges round my hairline (I am strange like that I suppose!). If I have to neaten up my twists I simply deinstall and reinstall one braid/twist at a time.
I really hope you find an answer that works for you.

about ends sticking out. when that happens to me it’s as a result of: i sectioned off too huge a chunk of my hair; or used a lot of the marley so the twists aren’t as tight; or depends on the model of hair used (some twist tighter than others — the actually kinky hair holds the ends higher).
